Santoku Restaurant – Modern Japanese Dining in Accra
Santoku is a sophisticated Japanese fine dining restaurant in Accra, Ghana, known for its elegant setting and world-class Asian fusion cuisine. Inspired by the team behind Nobu in London and Dubai, Santoku blends tradition and innovation—its name meaning both experimentation and creativity. Here, classic Japanese techniques meet modern culinary artistry to deliver a truly exceptional dining experience.
The menu follows a contemporary Japanese sharing concept, with smaller, artfully prepared dishes that encourage guests to order two to three plates each and share. Meals are served as they’re ready, ensuring a dynamic and flavorful tasting journey across the entire menu.
For special gatherings, a private dining room is available for up to 18 guests. It features a handcrafted reclaimed wood table and is beautifully enclosed by sand-blasted glass with bamboo detailing. The outdoor terrace also seats up to 50 guests, offering a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy Santoku’s refined dishes under the open Accra sky.
The restaurant’s design reflects a seamless fusion of ancient Eastern philosophy and modern Western aesthetics. With interiors styled by Hubert du Givenchy, featuring traditional Japanese woodwork and bamboo ceilings, Santoku stands out in its exclusive residential setting.
